Past Layouts
Serenitatis v.7 (July 28, 2005 - current)
Version 7 was inspired by a fantastically gorgeous doujinshi cover I saw for sale. The previous version's iframes were discarded in favor of a centered div layout. Gallery pages were upped to 50 thumbnails, and were rearranged to favor a more horizontal display, with less scrolling involved.
Serenitatis v.6 (June 1, 2004 - July 28, 2005)

Version 6 was a minimalistic layout, featuring iframes and no graphics-heavy subpages, and a universal color scheme for all galleries. It was the first version to not feature Usagi & Mamoru in the layout at all. ^^;;
Serenitatis v.5 (December 31, 2002 - March 29, 2004)

This layout was originally slated for version 4, but I ran into problems and let it sit for three months, scrapping it for the layout below. I unearthed it again in December, and within a morning the main layout was completed. This is a more traditional Serenitatis layout, romantic manga art on a dark background - after two versions of white, I was ready to go back to black. ^_~ I'm especially fond of the lens flare. ^^;
Serenitatis v.4 (September 19, 2002 - December 31, 2002)

This is a pretty non-traditional layout for me, I usually tend towards excessively romantic layouts. However, this layout was created with the foreknowledge that it would be a "short" layout, lasting only a few months, and I wanted it to look more victorious and celebratory. The release date commemorates GSM/Serenitatis' five-year anniversary, and coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Sailor Moon anime, hence "anniversary squared".
Serenitatis v.3 (January 18, 2002 - September 19, 2002)

I wanted to make this version totally different from anything the gallery had ever been in the past four years, which pretty much meant white. I was inspired to make this layout after I got engaged in August 2000, shortly after finishing version 2, and had planned to implement it springish 2001. Instead, the site went down in June 2001 and remained offline until January 2002, due to life being chaotic and me not having any time. The main page graphic was taken from Artbook V, and I spent about nine hours removing other people from the picture and restoring Usagi's dress and veil.
Serenitatis v.2 (July 21, 2000 - January 18, 2002)

One of my most highly-complimented layouts, the "red rose" layout was the product of myself, my (then) boyfriend, and our two best friends, and it came into existence in one rather long evening. People also said it looks too much like Utena? Um... other animes have roses too, people. Definitely one of my favorite web creations.
Serenitatis v.1 (January 1, 2000 - July 21, 2000)

I still adore this layout, and I was devastated to have to take it down, due to image theft. You might have seen that starlocket graphic around... it's mine. I have the Photoshop files to prove it. I picked a somewhat unusual color scheme, and refer to it fondly as the "tiki torch" layout.
Gallery of the Silver Millennium v.2 (December 1, 1998 - January 1, 2000)

This was the next version of GSM, which lasted about a year. During 1999, I acquired serenitatis.com and spent the fall developing the next version of the site. In this version, I moved from the large link buttons for each gallery to smaller ones, and gave up the frames.
Gallery of the Silver Millennium v.1 (September 19, 1997 - December 1, 1998)

Couldn't find much of this first gallery layout, just the title graphics of the page and the individual galleries. This version included a brief, crude attempt at frames... before that it was a very long page.
